Editing and Training
Editing is one of the critical phases of the writing process. It is your last chance to check a document before it goes out to the public. If your document has not been properly checked, there is a good chance it will contain errors that others may perceive as a reflection of your commitment to quality.

Scribe Limited will work with you to ensure that every document leaving your organisation is error-free. Our editing service is available for reports, proposals, e-mails, websites, memos, brochures and other business documents.

Our edits include correction of spelling, punctuation, sentence structure and grammar. Our editors will highlight errors in your document and suggest corrections. Corrections will not be made without your approval. This gives you full control of the final document. Editing options are as follows:

Standard Edit - Microsoft Word®
A Standard Edit uses the Track Changes feature of Microsoft Word®. This feature enables a you to accept or decline a change suggested by an editor. Changes are identified and indicated without comment from the editor. Note: The Track Changes feature also allows you to accept all changes with a single click.

Learning Edit - Microsoft Word®
A Learning Edit also uses the Track Changes feature of Microsoft Word®. However, a Learning Edit document will include additional comments from an editor describing the reason for suggested changes. Clients use this editing option to learn from their mistakes and minimise future errors.

Publisher's Edit - Adobe Acrobat®
A Publisher's Edit is for documents that have been laid-up by a graphic artist and require checking before printing. A graphic artist or printer provides the document in Adobe Acrobat® format and our editor makes changes in that format. Publishers' Edits are made without notes.

Scribe Limited's editors treat all documentation as confidential to ensure that your company information does not become public knowledge.

Contact us to discuss how we can fill your editing needs.
