Unlinking Footers Across Sections |

| Overview |
As mentioned above, one of the advantages of splitting your document into sections is that it enables you to have different footers in each section. You will need to do this when:
To do these things without affecting footers in other sections of your document, you need to unlink footers. We do this using the Same as Previous button on the Header and Footer toolbar. Note: Section breaks split the main body of a document into sections, but do not unlink footers. |

When the footers of sections are linked, the words
Same as Previous will appear at the top right hand side
of the footer when you open it. The Same as Previous button

| Moving between Footers across Sections |
You can move quickly between footers across sections
of a document using the Show Previous The Show Previous button will take you to the footer in the previous section. The Show Next button will take you to the footer in the next section. Use these buttons to move between sections quickly when you are working with footers. |
