About Kiwi Ora
The
Kiwi Ora programme was created to meet the specific needs of immigrants
moving to New Zealand. The programme is a 12-month, home-based, distance-learning
programme offered free of charge.
Students
receive four packs delivered at stages during the programme. The packs
contain video tapes, audio tapes, books, and other valuable resources
that help students gain an understanding of life in New Zealand.
Each
student is assigned a Programme Advisor (PA) who offers one-to-one and/or
group support to students on the programme. This is supported by free
access to a call centre with staff able to speak a student's native
language.
